H48Y/H Empty Drain Check Valve produced and sold by Baigang valve group installed in the thermal power unit to the large pump outlet pipe to prevent water back to protect the pump. The valve with the minimum flow pump automatically recirculation next to the valve work, when the pump in the low load or outlet cut-off state, the automatic recirculation bypass valve should be in the open position to ensure the safe operation of the pump. When empty check valve opens, the recirculation bypass valve closes automatically. Should not be used for containing solid particles and larger viscosity media.

As a principle: Open the outlet valve, start the pump, water reaches a certain pressure, the valve pressure in the water under the role of a certain height, pushed off the valve seat, the water that is out. At the same time due to the valve flap rise, drive connecting rod rotation, toggle the exhaust port valve, the recirculation blade valve to move down, close the exhaust port. When the water flow decreases, the valve flap down, push the connecting rod to open the emptying valve, open the recycling door to maintain the pump's minimum allowable flow. When the pump is stopped, the valve flap will automatically fall off and the valve port passage will be closed to prevent the damage of the high pressure water hammer water supply system.
Structural features: The valve with the recycling bypass valve work to maintain the safe operation of the system. The main valve flap moves up and down. When the media is flowing backwards, the bypass valve is closed by means of medium pressure and spring. At this time, the bypass valve is opened. When the main valve flap is fully open, the bypass valve is closed. Valve seal made of stainless steel surfacing, wear-resistant, abrasion resistance, reliable sealing. The valve should be installed vertically.
